This policy explains website and app data processing and your privacy choices.
Scope and account information
This policy covers the Gold Platform website and Android app (net.wikigerman.gold). Prices and news can be viewed without an account. Optional website accounts process your name, email, password hash, verification status and security records. Social sign-in may provide basic identity information from the chosen provider.
Device registration and notifications
When you enable notifications, the app registers an installation identifier and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token, your selected country, currency, language and notification categories. Technical device data includes manufacturer, brand, model, phone/tablet type, operating system and SDK version, app version/build/package, system locale, time zone, notification permission and first registration/last contact times. The token is encrypted on our server and is not publicly displayed. We do not collect your phone number, IMEI, serial number, contacts or GPS location through this feature.
Notification activity and choices
With notifications enabled, we record acknowledgments of receipt, display requests, opening and filtering to operate notifications and diagnose delivery. These acknowledgments are not a guarantee that a person read the message. On first launch you may accept or decline notifications; Android permission is requested only after acceptance. You may change categories or disable notifications in app or device settings. Disabling notifications does not automatically delete previously stored records. Older Android versions may still use OneSignal to deliver notifications; the current Flutter version uses Firebase Messaging.
Country selection and local storage
Initial country selection uses the region in phone settings, not GPS; unsupported or unavailable regions default to US dollars. You may select another country or currency. Local storage keeps preferences, cached prices/news, an installation credential, and event identifiers to avoid duplicate notifications. Removing local app data does not by itself delete server records.
App usage analytics
Analytics-enabled app versions use the unified Google privacy message for advertising and Google Analytics for Firebase. Usage analytics starts only after you grant the analytics purpose in that message. After consent, Google may process technical information, an app instance identifier, usage sessions, screen events, and metal and currency selections. Our analytics events do not include subscriber names, push tokens or stable device identifiers. This feature does not collect the advertising ID. You can change or withdraw consent through privacy options in Settings; disabling does not automatically delete data already sent.
Firebase, AdMob and website advertising
The app uses Firebase Messaging for push delivery and Firebase App Check with Play Integrity for app verification. These services may process installation identifiers and technical information. Google AdMob displays and measures app ads and may process IP addresses, device/advertising identifiers, diagnostics and interactions, and personalize ads where permitted. Ads are requested subject to Google consent eligibility; privacy options are available in Settings where required. The website uses Google Analytics and AdSense, which may process browsing data and cookie identifiers according to consent settings.
Purpose, providers and external links
Information is processed to supply the service, remember choices, deliver relevant notifications, prevent misuse, troubleshoot and fund the service through advertising. Hosting and Google services process relevant data; legacy notifications may involve OneSignal. External source and Telegram links are governed by their providers. Country selection is a preference, not a claim of GPS-derived location. We do not sell the device registry.
Retention and security
Requests use HTTPS and notification tokens are encrypted at rest on our server; access to device and receipt records is restricted to authorized administration. Device registration and notification records currently have no automatic expiry or purge schedule and can remain until reviewed or deleted by administration. Local pending acknowledgments are retried when connectivity returns. Hosting logs and provider data follow their respective retention settings. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Contact and data rights
For privacy questions or requests to access, correct or delete account/device records, contact info@gold-platform.com. Please describe the request without sending passwords or FCM tokens. We may request reasonable information to identify the relevant records and verify ownership. Rights and any legally required retention depend on applicable law. Advertising choices can also be managed through Google and the in-app consent options. This policy and the Play Data safety declaration should reflect the services actually enabled.
Changes
We update this policy when our website, app or data practices change. The date above indicates the current version.
